Mrs. C.J. Clingler (Pastor’s daughter) will give a presentation about her recent mission trip to Costa Rica as part of the fall LWML rally scheduled from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Oct. 17 at St. James in Logansport. Cost is $5 to help cover expenses. Lunch will be served at noon. Please join us for what is sure to be a fascinating presentation.

The 2015 Stewardship Committee is excited to announce that a Reformation Celebration with music provided by Kantor Kevin Hildebrand and seminary students at Concordia Theological Seminary, Ft. Wayne will be on Sunday afternoon, Oct. 4, at 3 p.m. at St. James Lutheran Church.

Beginning at 10 a.m., St. James' doors will be open for anyone in the Logansport community to come in and offer prayers to the Lord of Life to end abortion. This Day of Remembrance will conclude with A Vigil of Repentance in Remembrance of the Victims of Abortion at 7 p.m.

The St. James worship service on Aug. 30 will be at Riverside Park in the air conditioned McHale Pavillion beginning at our regular worship time of 10:30 am. Following worship we will have a picnic, so bring your favorite covered dish to share along with table service. In the afternoon, the children will be able to play miniature golf or ride the carousel and train.

  • Sunday, April 5 | The Resurrection of our Lord Holy Communion | 10:30 a.m.

A breakfast will preceed the Divine Service on Easter Sunday (April 5) beginning at 9 a.m. Please join us at St. James for any or all of the Holy Week services.
