175 Years

Preaching a changeless Christ
to a changing world!

We are a confessional congregation that holds to the Christian faith as it is delivered to us in Holy Scripture and taught in the Lutheran Confessions. We are a welcoming congregation located in Logansport, Indiana. St. James has had a presence in Cass County for 175 years, and it is the only congregation in Cass County that is affiliated with The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod.

Please join us for worship this Sunday at 10:30 a.m.!

What we believe

Along with all of Christendom, we confess the three ecumenical creeds. As a confessional member congregation of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod, we also hold fast to doctrine drawn from the Word of God as expounded upon in the Book of Concord.

Divine Service

The Sunday morning Divine Worship Service is at 10:30 a.m., September through May.

Not familiar with the Divine Service? That’s OK. We’ll help you. But if you want a summary, it’s all about Jesus.

Still not sure? Well, as Philip told Nathanael when he inquired about Jesus, all we can tell you is, “Come and see!”
